Cigarette Prices

I will be flying into from South Florida Vancouver before my cruise, just wondering what prices are like on cigarettes. Are they cheaper than in the states?

I haven't smoked for years and years and years. So this info may be sadly out of date.

 

I'd bring your own brand. Canadian cigarettes are different - tastewise - than American cigarettes. Some stores sell the more popular brands of American cigarettes, but you might not easily find your brand up here. I don't know what the prices are like on the ship, but I suspect the prices would be higher in Alaska than you are used to paying.

7 bucks a pack up here.Anf they are very different from American smokes.

Wow! $7.00 is cheap in B.C. compared to $10.00 in Quebec. We are very heavily taxed on cigarettes. Thank God I quit when they were still $2.25 a pack!!

 

Coming in from the U.S., I'd stop and duty free and bring my own. MUCH cheaper!

Buy your smokes state side.

 

Prices in BC will range any where from $8.00 to $10.00 per pack. If you can hit a duty free you can save some dollars.
