cruisewmn Posted April 23, 2013 #26 Share Posted April 23, 2013 And therein lies the problem, because you will get people who imagine that if they take in extra people and "divide the cost evenly three or four ways" then they will get to experience "The Suite Life" for not much more than what they would have paid for each of two in a standard cabin. Rules regarding the number of people that a big Suite can sleep, keeps that kind of thing down to the bare minimum. I'm a lucky woman who has traveled extensively. I've stayed at the top hotels in the world -- in suites. Yet, your statement is pure elitism. Unbelievable. You give the rest of us one percenters a bad name. Travelcat2 Posted April 23, 2013 #27 Share Posted April 23, 2013 I read the Oceania board but rarely post. I do agree with JimandStan and do not consider myself an elitist. While I can understand some circumstances where three adults would share a suite, there is no circumstance where more than three should be sharing. I am confident that Oceania would not allow this situation to occur. IMO, the Oceania, Vista and Owner suites were built to accommodate two adults. cruisewmn Posted July 29, 2013 #29 Share Posted July 29, 2013 I just boarded Marina this afternoon and am able to provide an update. We are in an Oceania Suite on deck 12 and are able to put a rollaway bed in the media room for our teenage son. It fits just fine. Also, the closet has plenty of room for everyone's clothes. There are plentiful cabinets in the media room, as well. This suite is quite suitable for use as a triple. We're thrilled. Thank-you for taking the time, especially on day 1, to update us on the Oceania Suite. Sounds like you are off to a great start. Enjoy your cruise.
