Can you book a Celebrity Cruise while on RCI?

We will be on the Explorer in July. Next summer we would like to take an Alaska cruisetour for our anniversary. The trip is exactly the same for both Celebrity and RCI. The price is even almost the same. The only difference is the dates. Because we would like to be on the ship for our anniversary, the date of the Celebrity cruise is better for us. So, my question is...since the parent company is the same, can I book the Celebrity cruise while on Explorer and still get the shipboard credit?

We were able to do that last year but not sure if you still can. I know I saw Celebrity books with the Loyalty Ambassador last month so I'm assuming you still can.

They are owned by the same company, so they have reciprocity. (I have never been able to use that word on this board before! Hope I spelled it right!)

We booked btb for Celebrity next year while on the Vision.. $100 onboard credit for each cruise, along with Elite staus.. ricko1 :D
