Embarkation time at Southamptom

Hi

I though that P&O get you on board for embarktion in the order you arrive, not according to the time on your ticket. Howver my husband just reminded me that on our mini cruise last year with Cunard they boarded us according to the ticket time- we had arrived qn hour early. We have a boarding time for Oceana of 2 pm but really would like to be on board by 12. Will P&O let us on early or make us wait? Thanks

Cathy

On my P&O cruises i hve had printed arrival times up to 3pm. i always arrive at the terminal shortly after 11am and am on board around noon!

Forcing someone to wait until their appointed time would be bad public relations if the 'norm' was to board people in the order in which they arrived.

If they wanted to enforce such a rule they would have to publicise it and tell everyone in writing that they would not be allowed to board before their allotted time
