I've been on both, and liked both. Each has it's positives and negatives.

Spirit - Great food, great staff, LOVED the Serenity Deck, quiet areas all over the ship, downs - tacky decor, lots of kids, entertainment was average with relatively boring shows and not much on during sea days.

 

Pearl - Great food, loved the dome, not too many children, great entertainment, lots to do on sea days - downsides - few quiet areas, Zoltina J (but she's on the Dawn at present lol)... umm... I'm going again in 6 weeks if I think of any more down sides I'll come back

 

Loved both ships, would go on both ships again. Didn't want to get off either time.
