Gazzacruiser17 Posted May 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2013 I went down to Greenwich, London today to see the privately owned 'The World' cruise ship. It is the ship which has approximately 40 residences on board and they spend their entire life cruises around the world. It was a very impressive looking ship!! Apparently it is the largest privately owned cruise ship in the world!!

Gazzacruiser17 Posted May 2, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted May 2, 2013 As expensive as that sounds, I assumed it would be dearer. I didn't think food would be extra though, I thought that would be covered with the monthly fee. I have posted a video of it in the cruise videos section if you want to take a look. Kamloops50 Posted May 2, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 2, 2013 Food is extra because many people rent the units out when not in use . $4K is just the routine fees that they pay for docking, fuel and common areas. It is just a Condo that floats from Sea to Sea to Sea.
