How was the disembarkation yesterday with customs? How long did it take. I won't be walking off with my luggage at 7. I'll be boarding next Sunday. Can't wait!

Super Easy. We started our walk off the ship at approx. 8:30 AM. We were in a cab at approx. 8:40 AM... In that 10 minute's time...we picked up luggage in the holding area. It was a breeze!!! Don't know what others experienced after that timeframe...sensational process. Have a blast. We loved this ship.

We also got off super fast! Disembarkation time was supposed to be at 8:30-8:45. Called our number about 8:10. Luggage is now sorted in a big room and it was super easy to find. Customs line took maybe 4 minutes total if that. Our time with the customs agent was 15 seconds maximum. If you need a taxi, make sure you don't get on a bus service. We almost did that. The charge for that is $11 per person. Our taxi was $13.50 (we gave $20 including tip) for 4 people.

We also left the Oasis yesterday, but used luggage valet, so we did not have to stop for luggage. I took notes on the times:

 

We left the Promenade/off the ship at 8:40

At 8:54 we were through customs and exiting the building. Customs just looked at our passports, asked if we had any food and we were done.

Grabbed a cab and arrived FLL at 9:05

Sitting by our gate for our 1:20pm flight by 9:20

 

Wonder if customs got backed up later or not.

We had "assisted" (not doing luggage ourselves ... left it outside our cabin the evening before ) and it was still VERY quick and quite well organized! :)
