Affordable hotel in Barbados

I know it's a long way away, but starting to think a bit on our 10-day cruise round-trip out of Barbados next March. Our flight gets in late evening the night before we embark, so I'm looking for clean, safe, a little bit of charm if we're lucky, and less than $200 for a hotel. We'll be taking a taxi from the airport, and then I guess a taxi the next day to the port - any tips on that process are also very welcome.

Last time, we just stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott -- not as expensive as the Hilton and perfectly acceptable. It's very easy to get a taxi from a hotel to the port -- just ask the front desk.

Google Little Good Harbor, Atlantis and Little Arches.

 

All good. Good Harbor quaint and fine dining on the beach. Atlantis,

great rooms and dining but no beach (Crane's Beach 10 minutes away),

Little Arches, an unbelievable staff and beach across the road. All are

small hotels.

The Coral Mist Beach Hotel should meet your expectations if the slightly dated decor won't bother you. We enjoyed our short stay there. All rooms are oceanfront and the beach and pool are great for a morning swim.

We are going on this cruise in March 2014. Like the ideas for hotels for before cruise. Just prefer hotel that is close to Seadream departure. Can't remeber how big Barbados is . Keep giving us choices for hotels. ;)

Can't wait think it is going to be awesome cruise. Revisit our SD crew :D
