La Concha at Condado Beach

I'll be cruising on the Carnival Valor this coming Sunday, 5/12 out of San Juan. I was on this ship last year so I know what to expect in the casino. However, when the cruise ends we will be staying for 5 nights at La Concha Hotel Casino in Condado Beach.

 

Has anyone played in the Casino del Mar at La Concha and if you have is there anything you can tell me about it. I'm really not expecting too much based on a one week stay at Isle Verde a few years ago but I'm willing to be surprised.

I visited Condado Beach, I played the slots in Casino del Mar, as I remember it was adequate. I stayed at the Marriott, there is a casino there as well, which is within walking distance from Casino del Mar.... The casino in the Marriott was small but adequate as well. Cannot tell you much about tables because I only play machines. The only thing I remember about the Marriott was that they had a Fireball machine...... Casino del Mar had Quick Hits and More Hearts.....

The tables are pretty active on the weekend. You may like the tables since you are a craps guy. The slots were terrible my first night, and then I had a nice little hit my second night which made up for the first night.....

 

That aside, I loved the hotel....it was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The ocean view room was beyond expectations and the hotel is huge with three different pools and ocean access.........simply amazing:)
