bunchesofun Posted May 7, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2013 We have YTD on the Valor which from past Funtimes shows the Lincoln dining room 3 mid. I see entrances on both sides of the dining room. Do they seat from both sides? Or is there a correct side to enter?
Vettebuf Posted May 7, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2013 We just got off the Valor on Sunday and we had first seating in the Lincoln dining room. We and everyone else entered the dining room in front of the podium/desk where the hosts and hostesses stand. It is at the entrance nearest the atrium. I don't think anyone is seated from the other side. The same is true for the 4th floor entrance.
bunchesofun Posted May 7, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted May 7, 2013 Thanks, it's such a big deal to get to the other side, up and down decks that I thought I'd find out in advance to save ourselves the hassle. Thanks again!
ccruisequeen Posted May 7, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2013 On the Inspiration you could leave through the back door. Also that back way is open for breakfast. Sent from my iPod touch using Cruise Critic Forums mobile app
Vettebuf Posted May 8, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2013 That's right, cruisequeen. I remember doing that on some of the Valor's sister ships. My problem on 4 out of the last 5 cruises has been this - our cabin is forward (4J's or near the forward elevator) and they've assigned us to the aft dining room. DH is elderly so I've had to switch dining rooms whenever we haven't been dining with friends or family.
