We just got back from Bermuda on Sunday and although i didn't go (wish i had) the group i was with did go on the kayak and loved it. They could see through the bottom of the Kayak very clearly and the tour guide was very interesting - they came back with all kinds of tidbits about Bermuda. The recommend it.

We're going in August and I had originally booked a helmet dive w/Hartley's, but cancelled and booked the glass bottom kayak tour instead. I was a little worried about making it to the dockyards and back on the bus for the helmet dive. The kayak tour appears to begin right in St. George, near where the boat docks. We figured it would be less intimidating and more interesting to our 8 and 9 y/o sons.

This sounds like something my wife and I would be interested in. Did you book this through the cruise line or through the company directly? We're going on Grandeur in August, and I didn't see this excursion on the RCCL web site. Thanks for any info you can provide.
