Are the house brand spirits any good

Not normally keen on house spirits (prefer proper brands), are the one's which are on AI on Island Escape any good.

Also what is the latest on the duty free shops on-board, is it better to buy cigarettes on-board or at say Gibraltar

Fife1, Brandy is not to bad from what I can remember and when we were in Gib Last year the smokes were cheaper on board the good ship or was that in Tangiers? (memory going)

I think you will find that the branded spirits aren't that pricey if you don't like the house brand.....John likes dark rum and didn't like the house brand so asked for Captain Morgan's which was less than a pound ...but of course may be dearer this year! Still cheaper than at home though....:)
