Grandeur 6/10 cruisers, we have questions

Recommended Posts

Welcome back everyone!! Our group from the 6/24 sailing have a few questions. Thank-you

1. How many formal, smart casual and casual nights were there and on which nights?

2. How was the food in the main dining room?

3. if anyone took the ships excursions, were they well organized, were they a good value for the money?

4. Was the pool water warm enough for swimming on the first day?

5. Do they have a wine and dine package in the dining room?

6. Did you have to go through customs on the ship in Key West and Port

Canaveral?

7. What time were you able to board the ship?

8. Did you stay on ship time the whole cruise?

9. How was the onboard entertainment?

10. What Theme nights did they have and what percentage of people participated?

The cruise was great! I will try to answer your questions.

1. 2 formal nights, 2 smart casual,5 casual

2.I have been on 12 cruises and this was one of the best food in the dining room I have ever had. However, I thought the Windjammer food was just average.

3. The excursions were very well organized. We did the Universal Islands of Adventure in Port Canaveral. It was fun

4. Yes, we sat by the pool the first day and there was alot of people in the pool

5.They did have a wine and dine package, but we did not get it

6. Unfortunately, we did have to get up early and do customs at Key West and Port Canaveral.

7.We got right on at 12:30pm and had no wait. I would definately go early

8. Yes, ship time the whole cruise

9. The headliners were very good

10. They had Caribbean night which a lot of people wore caribbean style shirts or sundresses. They also had 70's night in the disco and it was packed.

There also was a 50's-60's rock n roll night. There was a good turn out for everything.

Hope this helps. Overall it was a great cruise. We had beautiful weather except for the last day. You will really enjoy it!
