Suite Perk--Embarcation Night Dinner

Last time I cruised Alaska, those who booked suites found a letter in their cains inviting them to their choice of Sabatini's or Crown Grill on the first night with no surcharge (of course I gave that amount to the servers!). Do they still do that? We'll go either way, but just wondering. It was a nice "extra," although not as good as every morning's breakfast at Sabatini.:)

As of mid-March on the Ruby that was still a suite perk. Hopefully it hasn't been changed.

Just got off the Sapphire yesterday and we took advantage of the free dinner. It was a nice benefit.

The embarkation dinner at Sabatini's or Crown Grill/Sterling Grill has been a standard perk for full suite passengers on all Princess ships for about a year or so.
