Savona To Portofino

;) Can anyone give me an idea about getting from the port of SAVONA to go to PORTOFINO for the day? The MAGICA's first port is SAVONA on the 7-day Med cruise, and we would not want to miss a trip to PORTOFINO!! What is the distance in time, and what is the best method of transportation besides a cruise tour? Thanks in advance for the very helpful info!!:cool:

I reckon about 40-60mins to Rapallo, where you can take a short boat trip to Portofino. Both Rapallo and Portofino are truly beautiful, and the drive from the port is lovely. When we did it Costa used Genoa and not Savonna as their port and it was around 40 mins from Genoa, hence the 60mins or so from Savonna I would guess.

 

With that distance, I think a private taxi would be your best bet, there will be plenty at the port - you will love it (and the Magica). I hope someone else can help you more with this question.
