1stime cruiser Posted May 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2013 Good Afternoon, I am cruising in a little over 60 days and I would like to do excursions but the people I am traveling with have different shall we say economic means so I am looking to see what we can do without booking an excursion. Are there tours here that you can pay for once you get off the boat that take you to the beach and shopping? Can we get to the beach on our own? Any help would be appreciated! I see that you also posted this on Tortola. I will respond to both here. Antigua: There are lots of beaches all over. You can take a taxi to any of several. Some have facilities, some don't. When you get back there is shopping. Tortola: Road Town is small and right off the pier. You can take a taxi to Cane Garden (crowded) or Brewer's (less so). Both have food.
