I sailed on the SON in 1973. I have several pictures of the ships and ports. I have one that shows the pool on a sea day. A total of 17 people can be seen in the shot, 4 in the pool. Plenty of deck chairs and a shot of my brother, I was to young, shooting skeet off the side of the vessel.

 

Back when cruising was to paraphrase star wars of a more elegant time before the dark time before the megaships.

 

It will be hard to find stuff from that exact voyage. Cool small vessel before her stretch job.
