PRESS RELEASE: Wednesday, May 22, 2013

Recommended Posts

Can someone please confirm for me that they are only opening bookings through April of 2015? That's what the press release seems to indicate. I'm interested in August of 2015. How long will I have to wait until I can reserve those dates?

Far be it from me to have any definate info but todays press release says Quantum will be in NJ through April 2015 so maybe that's why? I am sure her next location is an even bigger secret than the prices seem to be let alone the actual dates ;)

But where is it going, and how much it is going to cost and how long is it going for.....

Well don't you just want to know everything :p

Apparently after today's press release I guess that information is top secret and on a need to know basis and as customers we don't need to know.

I think I have passed the ticked off stage and have entered the what a joke stage. Maybe we are all on Candid Camera...for those of you old enough to remember that TV show. By Monday I may be laughing way to hard to bother to even call in to make a reservation. :D

So are they going to wait until the 28th to show everything including the prices so that we have to wait forever to get through and then try to figure out which cruise/pricing works for us? I'm not retired (wish I was) and still have kids at home in school and would really like to plan in advance which one I want and the $$ of it before I actually get on the phone with someone to decide which one would work the best for us....geez I know. I'm probably asking for too much too huh? :D

The press release really didn't tell us much that we all didn't know already. With the exception of the TA cruise date. I find it hard to believe that they won't release itineraries and prices prior to the May 28th booking date for C&A members. That is just nuts! I'm glad I'll be on board Freedom to do my booking. I'm hoping the LA's will have easy access to show me all the information real time. We shall see....should be VERY interesting indeed.:D

Me too :) I have kids and have to plan for money and school, I wish RCCL would tell us something before the 28th.

The press release was a big disappointment !! Just like everyone else I'm trying to plan ahead and figure out what cabin is going to fall into price range for me! I'm interested in the studio with a balcony, and the spa junior suite. Having some sort of price would help me budget a little bit !!

Wow, Brian, those are the 2 cabin types I'm interested in too. Great minds think alike. I'm afraid the single cabins will book rather quick on all the cruises and want to book that for the cruise I'm thinking of taking with some friends for April 2015. If not, going to do a Spa JS with my DD in June 2015 after she graduates college. I think Spa JS will priced like the original JS' or just slightly more. The single cabin price should be interesting for sure. ;)

I have a small group going in march for the 12 day southern, I know it's going to be more because of it being 12 days, but that's why I work three jobs. Stow money and have fun !!!

I'm going to start throwing my exchange in a jar. LOL We are thinking of doing the 12 night in April 2015.

Lol !! I have had the jar going for 2yrs now, it just makes it harder when you don't use cash all the time..
I know! I'm actually cashing in my jar tomorrow to bring the cash for our FOS cruise this weekend. This is my gambling money. ;)

Nice to know other CC'ers do the same thing with their extra change. Happy Cruising Brian, hopefully our cruising paths will cross one day. Cannot wait to cruise on Quantum of the Seas and not have to fly. :D

Or in the increased cabin prices;). Thinking they will be in line with OA/AL pricing or slightly higher:eek:. Would be a shock if lower but don't see that happening at all....jmho.

That is what I wanna know!!!

On the Bahamas cruises, guests call at Port Canaveral, Fla., Nassau and CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private tropical island paradise. The Eastern Caribbean cruises will include ports of call among San Juan, Puerto Rico; Samana, Dominican Republic; St. Thomas; St. Kitts; and St. Maarten. Guests on the Southern Caribbean cruises will call at San Juan, St. Maarten, Martinique, Barbados and St. Kitts. On most Caribbean sailings, Quantum of the Seas also will visit Labadee, Royal Caribbean’s very own highly-rated private beach paradise on the north coast of Haiti.
