Clarea Posted May 23, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2013 Would you book a flight this early after cruise? Yes, you should not have a problem with a noon flight.
AZAficionado Posted May 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 23, 2013 I would. It should be no problem at all. If anything, my worry would be the transportation from the ship to airport.
UCF_Knight Posted May 23, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 23, 2013 It shouldn't be a problem as long as there are not major issues at customs that morning. Do you know yet how you are getting from Port Canaveral to MCO?

lbw Posted May 23, 2013 #7 Share Posted May 23, 2013 If you have the option, I would pick a later departure since you are sailing during hurricane season. We were on a Monarch sailing last August while there was a hurricane in the Caribbean, not even near Central Florida. But when we docked at Port Canaveral, everyone was late debarking, due to etremely rough seas. I don't remember how long but it seems like it was a few hours delay. It probably won't happen to you, but that is something to consider.
Luv06012012 Posted May 23, 2013 #8 Share Posted May 23, 2013 That would be perfectly fine barring anything unexpected like other poster said involving mother nature, etc. But if the ship arrives at normal time then you will have plenty of time! Rare orville99 Posted May 23, 2013 #9 Share Posted May 23, 2013 99% of the time this would not be a problem. We've done 20+ cruises out of PC in the past four years, and only had a problem once that kept us on the ship until after 9AM. Getting from the ship to the airport normally only takes about 45 minutes, unless there's construction happening on the 528 (which seems to start and stop with no rhyme or reason), that can make it a 90 minute trip. If you're off by 9Am, you should be fine.
