Use OBC toward future cruise certificate?

I asked this question in another thread about future cruise certificates, and did not get a response. Has anyone ever used existing OBC toward the purchase of a future cruise certificate, or know if it is allowed?

For example, if you have $100 OBC and purchase a certificate, will the OBC be applied toward the purchase, making the net cost $50 (after the additional $100 credit)?

 

It may not matter as I may spend my obc on other stuff, but traditionally I don't spend a great amount of money onboard, other than cash in the casino. :)

Yes. You can use your OBC to buy the cruise reward voucher. So if you have $100 OBC, in the end the voucher will cost you $50.

Yes, we did that on our last cruise with the HSN OBC that we had gotten. If you havent gotten the HSN this year, there is a thread about it...:)

OBC is best spent on FCC.
