Nassau - Shark Adventure Dive

Has anyone found a dive operation in Nassau (specifically for a Shark Dive) that is able to work with the Carnival ship times. We currently are in port from 8am-5pm; however most Shark dives seem to run nearly an hour later than our departure.

Since noone is answering, I'll tell you what I know.

Stuart Cove is the only shop that offers a shark dive that I know of. They are located on the south side of the island (where the sharks hang out).

Bahama Divers is the other shop in town, but I don't think they do a shark dive either. They operate out of Nassau Yacht Haven on the North Shore, about 2/3 miles east from the dock.

Someone posted here earlier this month about another small independent outfit that has just opened (I can't find any evidence of it nor hear of it around the docks).

Diving is not easy when you are in town for such a short period of time. It usually doesn't coincide with port times, unless it's offered by the ship.

I found the link.. but I don't know anything about this outfit, noone I talked to does either.

ScubaGirl -- actually, we dive 1-2 ports each cruise booked independently, never a problem. Unfortunately, for the Shark Adventure, I think we'll be out of luck unless we private charter something, not worth it for two divers... I will look into the new operator with some locals. Thanks!
