gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1451 Share Posted June 9, 2013 After sometime up there I went to check on mom. She was doing slightly better, and she also reminded me about the room tour. So here is the room tour. I really like those ledges Same toilet paper as other lines?
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1452 Share Posted June 9, 2013 I was not happy with the quality of the shampoo, too bad we left ours at home. the shower had weak pressure.

gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1454 Share Posted June 9, 2013 I absolutely love that ledge, it comes in very handy to put items there.
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1455 Share Posted June 9, 2013 The closet is on the small side. And the safe belongs in a doll house!
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1456 Share Posted June 9, 2013 There is some very nice storage there, the problem is that they keep blankets in there. In our case we only had one, but Slice had both drawers occupied. The TV size is average, but the viewing screen is much smaller. No idea why they do that. gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1462 Share Posted June 9, 2013 Overall we found the room adequate, maybe with a lack of storage. But no major complains in this area other than the problems with the small balconies. After the room tour mom was still feeling a little nauseous. That is when I told her to eat something, she said not. But I still went up to the buffet and got her some soup and fruits. While she ate her food I went downstairs and got a couple of tostadas for myself on Blue at the waterfront. It was empty down there.
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1463 Share Posted June 9, 2013 The weather was slightly improving, although the waves were getting bigger. I wonder how the Summit was doing with the weather. Then my tostadas came out, and this time they made them different. They added olives to them, that is exactly the reason I did not get the toast any more. They really to get a recipe and stick by it! I ate them, but I was not a happy camper. Since I was still hungry I decided to stop by the Buffet, and get something else. I really wanted to eat in Wasabi, but the place was packed and I had no intentions in waiting.
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1464 Share Posted June 9, 2013 Yum, red velvet. The only thing I got was a little of the seafood pie and a lemonade. I loved their lemonade! I sat in a high top by the entrance, and enjoyed my food.
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1465 Share Posted June 9, 2013 After eating I went back down to check on mom, and she was doing much better. I guess all she needed was food in her stomach. We decided to go to H2O to the jacuzzi, It was a little warmer then but still very little action going on. I met Dandy7 when I was up there, he was very nice. We talked for a little while. For some reason that jacuzzi got much more action. Here we are passing Summit. I took a short video up there.
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1466 Share Posted June 9, 2013 When I was up there I took a little break and went to get pictures of the guidelines for the water slides.
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1467 Share Posted June 9, 2013 They always weigh you. These are the pads you wear on your back for the drop slides. The ending of the twisted slides. I also took a second to go look how the FWD of the ship was bearing the weather. Little did I know that the M6 balconies would suffer damage by the end of the day. Here is, a short video, you can listen at the glass shattering.
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1468 Share Posted June 9, 2013 We then went to for a little walk and I got maltings drink list. By the way the margarita tasting is $15 and you get to sample 4 margaritas. Are these lists the same? I have not even read one of them, lol. gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1469 Share Posted June 9, 2013 (edited) I also stopped by the raw bar and checkout their menu, to see if I liked something for that evening. That was also when I noticed that they actually also increased the price for the Raw Bar, the platter was $50 for two people and they increased it to $35 per person. But I asked them if we could just share half of it and add some other items and they said it was ok to do so. gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1470 Share Posted June 9, 2013 Before going up to the room I noticed that they were also hosting a wine tasting in Moderno. By the way, all tastings are $15, but I think the amount of drinks variate in the type of tasting.

gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1472 Share Posted June 9, 2013 Oh I forgot to mention, while I was in the buffet I saw Slice and she told me that they were giving free lanyards in customer service. Since I had vowed not to go there again, I told mom and she decided to go and see if it was true or not. She came back with two of these. After that we went to the Jacuzzi one more time, I know that was just a very lazy day. The weather was starting to decline again, I think the waves were about 18 ft by then. Do you see the rainbow? Perfect ending for a great cruise =)
gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1473 Share Posted June 9, 2013 When we had enough of the jacuzzi we decided to go get ready and head to the raw bar. We really enjoyed the raw bar, the service was excellent and the food was great. If this is a reflection, then Blue should be amazing! Sugar Balls. The ice tea was absolutely fantastic! It was different from any ice tea in the ship and it was still free, thank God! Be careful when they hand you the plates, they have a lot of sauce on them and well, this is what happened to me :D. Good thing I did not have my white pants. It was just mainly a bunch of olive oil, I cleaned it pretty fast, lol. The Fluke was AMAZING!!!! GET IT!!!! gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1474 Share Posted June 9, 2013 The tuna not so much, I actually did not like it. I am not sure what they put in it, but it had a very odd taste to it. It was a condiment that I did not like. Blue was a little slow. The Black bass ceviche was very tasty, but I still think the fluke was better. Since they were out of clams they gave us extra oysters, that was fine by me. It was very good and surprisingly we were both stuffed. I think the total came up to $45 or around there, I must off tipped an extra $10 or so. Overall a great meal, we really did enjoy it a lot. I think next time I will buy the fluke and bring it to the sushi bar and get sushi there. Oh wait, the ice tea, lol. I might buy sushi and bring it to the raw bar, lol. LIke I said I could live on those food bars. It would be nice if the noodle bar was located around that area as well. That way my walking needs would be reduced to almost nothing, lol. gambee Posted June 9, 2013 Author #1475 Share Posted June 9, 2013 (edited) After that we checked the water front and the weather was getting really nasty again. We stopped by the atrium cafe, and I got another tail. It was just as good as the other one. Yum, Yum, I wish I could get one right now =). Do you see the path is altered? I am guessing that is when the ship turned for the fireworks. Look at the wave height. Edited June 9, 2013 by gambee
