This is a 2D cabin and does have an obstructed view but honestly, you will still have a view straight out and still have a balcony with fresh air.

If you move to a 2C, they are still obstructed but the lifeboat (not the tenders) will only come to the bottom of your railing. So, for a small amount more you will have a lot less obstruction.

So, to answer your question, is it terrible?? Oh, that is so relative...you are in a balcony cabin on a cruise...how bad could it be? :D
