Canada Place to Station Street Vancouver

Recommended Posts

We are arriving on the Statendam in August and need to get to Seattle. Our plan is to take the Bolt Bus from Station Street near the railway terminal. It appears it is easy to walk from Canada Place to Waterfront Station, board the Expo line exit at Main Street and walk a block over to Station Street.

Has anyone done this? Is is as easy as it looks?

Easy is in the ability to pull and/or carry baggage. If you are able to do that OK you should have little problem.

Right out in front of CP before the turn on Cordova St. or inside the NW entrance to CP are escalators that will keep you inside most of the way or all the way (NW) to the SkyTrain.

If you walk outside you will be able to take advantage of elevators at the Waterfront Station.

The one inside goes through the Food court under/below the street and eventually meets up with the other one I mention.

Outside it's a down hill pull with let downs on the curbs all the way.

Yes, it is that easy. You want either an Expo line train ( which Im riding on one as I type this) or Millennium, they both go to "Main st - Science World" station. Note if you take the western entrance to Waterfront station from the street right by the taxi lineup into Canada Place, note there is an escalator followed by a short staircase to platform level. If you cut through Waterfront hotel as mentioned there are two short staircases. To completely avoid stairs you need to walk out to Cordova, walk two blocks and enter the station there but its a longer walk.

Nothing to add to the 'how to get there' info already given, but your wording in the original question makes me want to tell you that Bolt buses, Greyhound etc. actually go from *inside* the railway station.

Walk in the front door of Pacific Central and turn right, pass the ticket booths and turn left, through the two big sets of double doors onto the bus platform at the back.
