Diamond quad balcony cabin

I noticed on the Princess web site we are listed as having "non converting" twin beds in our balcony quad cabin. I called Princess and their rep told me that in a quad cabin the bottom beds can not be moved to make a double bed. Is this true? Our TA never mentioned this when we booked.
