Vegetarian hints

Hey there everyone - my pre-cruise diet officially starts, well how about RIGHT NOW?
The low carb thing is great and has apparently worked for so many people, but I'm a vegetarian, so that diet is kind of out of the question. Any tips for vegetarians besides live off salads?
I want to lose about 20 lbs before October, am I setting my sites too high?

I think this is a great idea and I cant wait to become a big loser with the rest of you.
Guess I should toss out this Diet Dr. Pepper for some good ol' water, eh?

Thanks in advance for all the support I am sure I will get on this board.

Carnival Victory, here I come!

mirrajay - can't help you with the vegetarian diet...since I do low carb. Sounds like your on the right track though not drinking the diet soda. I switched to the Diet RC Cola since it is made with Splenda and caffeine free and no carbs. I was addicted to Diet Pepsi but only have 1-2 cans of Diet RC a day. The best thing is to drink water as much as possible. I think they say 6, 8 oz glasses a day. Exercise helps!!

As of this morning I am down 25 lbs. since starting my new WOE on Feb. 2nd. I also go to Curves 3 times a week.

Good luck with your WOE to a slimmer trimmer you!

The more water you drink the less Dr. Pepper
you'll want..really! Water is better.

I would think, just eat the best veggies, the ones without so much starch to lose weight. Watch the other stuff you eat too and take vitamins.

Welcome and Good Luck!
