Post Mom's Day

Hope you all had a happy one! I managed to lose 1/2 pound...nothing makes me happier!! Kids bought me flowers...and ...(Pam, you will appreciate this)..my younger son cleaned his room (well, partially...it would take a genie to clean the whole thing in one shot!!!) I told him that was the best Mother's Day present, ever!!!!!

For dinner, I got to choose...when does the mother ever choose????Of course, I chose fish, so we went to a great Greek fish restaurant (they really know how to do fish). We had a wonderful meal (no desert!!).

Back home, I was soooo tempted to have a Hagan Daz, but CONTROLLED my urges!!Hence....down 1/2!

Have a great day, all

Glad you had a great Mom's Day, Baby! I had a wonderful weekend at the beach in Destin, FL. It was very relaxing and I got to do some cruise shopping. However, I was VERY bad with my eating on Sunday.

Good Afternoon you two.

Sounds like you two had a great Weekend.

Baby congrats on losing and posting today!
Also a semi-clean room is a miracle!

LOL!!!! You are TOO funny, baby! Cleaning a room is like pulling teeth in this house! I DID however, get DH to do his own laundry yesterday... Well... sort of. He started it, and I finished it this morning. I really shouldn't have though, seeing as no one offered me any dinner last night, so I didn't eat a darn thing... They all ate on their own

My one daughter had to work Mothers day so she took me out to eat on Tuesday. Than my youngest took me out Wed. night, husband paid of course & gave HER an extra $20 for gas We had some young friends come over, he is like a son to me, and my oldest DD, SIL & GD. So, out we went to eat again after I got out of work. Three times eating out = 3 pounds
Pam I'm so green with envy over your cruises.

Belle, I hate to say this, but if I lose any more weight before the cruise, most of my new clothes will be too big. I am going to try and maintain for right now until I get back from the cruise. I'm sure I will have at least 5 lbs to get off from the cruise. I plan on enjoying myself to the fullest and includes lots of desserts. I know I'm bad!

Shelia - Dittos here too. 25 days and counting. Got my docs yesterday!!! I also plan on having a great time and eating desserts, but I'm going to "try" to be sensible at lunch and breakfast (if I can get past the pastry plate).

If I maintain my current weight, I'll be happy with myself. But if I lose another 2-3 pounds before my sail date that wouldn't be bad either. Some of my new shorts already are too big but I'm going to bring a couple of pair with me as I may fit into them better by the 4th day! Lynn, you are JUST like me!! LOL My formal fits me GOOD now cause I had it taken in so I don't need to gain any weight. I also have a pair of size 10 shorts that I bought that fit sort of snug, but I can still wear them. My size 12's that are too big are still going and I will wear them at the end of the week. Too funny!

Shelia, we have to "plan" ahead! BTW, I just got my first issue of some cruise magazine I had ordered from my nephew's school's fund raiser and the Mariner of the Seas is featured. Alot like the other Voyager class ships, but I like the way the pool deck is layed out. You're going to enjoy this ship!

I've picked up this mag before. Thanks! Is it the May or June issue? Sorry to be such a pain.

Shelia - It was the April edition (?!). This was the first issue of our subscription, maybe that's why it was a little slow.

Thanks Lynn. I guess I can't buy the April issue unless I go to the publisher. Oh well.
