Place to store luggage near port in NOLA?

Is there anywhere near the port in NOLA where we could stash our luggage after arriving in port in the morning, but have a late day flight home, so we could go into the city for a quick tour/lunch/whatever?

I've cruised from New Orleans several times and have never seen any lockers etc.

What cruise line? NCL has the BAGS program in NO. For a fee they take your bags from the pier and get them to your flight.

This is what you do. Walk up to any hotel and tell the bellman my room is not available just yet, can you store my luggage? Slip him 10 bucks. :D

We used the baggage service that is located outside the terminal. The fee was $25 I believe and they will take your bags to the airport for you and you meet them at a scheduled time to get them. It worked out very well for us. Our flight wasn't until 8 pm so we were able to walk around New Orleans without worrying about luggage.
