seabird1122 Posted June 6, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I will be sailing on the Breakaway this Sunday, (6/09), and am trying to decide whether to go to Harbor Nights on Wednesday. I have gone in the past, but heard it has been improved for this season. Has anyone gone in the past several weeks?? Was it a fun time? Did they add extra ferries for the trip back to Dockyard? Were the ferries uncomfortably crowded? Any and all opinions/comments welcomed. Thanks :)
computerworks Posted June 7, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2013 It was very nice. We went in May. They added a 10 pm ferry back to the Dockyard. The Harbour Nights was fun...plenty of food vendors. They expanded the closed streets to the one parallel to Front Street up the hill, but it was sparsely attended. Merchant displays were so-so. The parade happened at dusk. Not an all-night affair; we spent about 2 hours there.
