I hear that St. Kitts has black sand beaches. Does anyone have pictures of this? Also what is a good beach to go to see the black sand and how much would a taxi be to get there? thanks.

If you just want to see black sand, you can walk to the right off the pier, along the beach is a sidewalk. That beach is black sand and it full of sea glass. It is not a swimming beach and is dirty and full of garbage. The sidewalk along the beach is next to a busy road. It is fun to see and walking along the beach hearing the waves is fun.

could you tell me if you mean, leaving the ship the beach is to the right, or walking back to the ship the beach is on the right? Is it near the bus terminal and ferry terminal?

I would love to get some sea glass, so I am hoping that you can clarify this for me! thanks so much!

I don't know where the bus or ferry terminals are located, but if you go off the ship to the first road. Go to your left when you are facing the island, or right when you are facing the water. It is right along the main road that all the taxis and tour busses drive on. Bring a bag, there is a lot of sea glass, :D
