Tortola - Taxi tours?

Anyone take a tour using a taxi? I would just like to see the island and of course have a pain killer or two. Any idea of the cost or what we should ask to see?

I am not into being crammed into one of those safari buses.

we wanna know too - thinking Pussers Painkiller and baths at Virgin Gorda - anyone? Taxi - costs - security - suggestions?

We did the 'safari bus tour' which we thought was excellent ... in fact we enjoyed it so much we are doing it again on our next cruise. We would have liked a bit more time on Cane Bay beach but there was plenty of space on the bus.

 

I know it is not what you asked. I have vague memories of someone saying that the taxi that took them to Skyworld, Pussers and Cane Bay was about $35 (no idea if this was per person or for the taxi though).
