Can you carry on a garment bag in addition to your allowed carry ons? I leave Sunday morning and I'm trying to be as organized as possible.

Can you carry on a garment bag in addition to your allowed carry ons? I leave Sunday morning and I'm trying to be as organized as possible.

 

The garment bag will be considered one of your carryons, had to fit the size guidelines and it will have to go in the overhead compartment.

Many airlines are limiting the carryons to one item plus a "personal" item such as a purse. One of those two must be able to fit under the seat in front of you.
