Cabin 2381 Dream.....WARNING....BEWARE!!!!

Just some information for those booking Cove Balcony's on the Dream. This room is directly under the kitchen galley and was extremely loud and annoying. It sounded like they were bowling with pots and pans for hours late into the night and started again early mornings. It was ridiculous. All we could do was laugh in the end. We talked to our neighbors and it seemed the same 2 doors down each way on both sides. Our kids has room 2405 with no issues. We didn't complain as the cove balcony's were booked full, but left it on a comment card so the complaint could be documented for future use. Carnival can't fix something if we don't tell them what is wrong.

Just thought someone might benefit from this warning.

Happy Cruising everyone!

There have been several threads about this... Sorry you had to endure it! We just had cabin M7 on the Fascination and it sets directly above the bow thrusters. The day in Freeport was just like being in a washing machine off balance as they were "testing" them. Still enjoyed it for the port holes...

Glad you had a great time even with.

We had 2375 on the Dream last October. There was a bit of noise one night, not too bad. The other 5 nights (7 day with one day cancelled due to Sandy) were nice and quiet. We always bring earplugs on vacation and only needed them one night. DW's brother who was in 2379 had no trouble with noise at all, but his wife wore earplugs every night after the first.

Everyone has different sensitivity to noise; especially how it affects their sleep. Earplugs or a white noise generator could be necessary anywhere on a ship, depending on neighbors and other factors, and are a good idea to bring along just in case, regardless of where your cabin is.

When booking any cabins ,is is wise to seek ,ask and look at the layout of the deck plans before you book them.

I asked on here and no one had been in that exact area. Many said it wasn't bad noise, etc.

We definitely didn't let it ruin our cruise, but I've seen people complain about some silly things on the ship and figured this would throw some of them over the edge. Better forewarned.

Deck 2 wasn't horrible at all. The cove balcony was AMAZING like I said, and sheltered us from the rain several times while the other balcony's were getting hammered. My kids had 2405 and LOVED it.

If you have the option though, steer clear of this room (2381) and 2 rooms each way next to it.

Happy Cruising all!!
