marypatrick Posted June 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2013 We're taking a September cruise from London to Lisbon. We like to do our own thing and do some research on the ports and surroundings, but I have a couple of questions. Gurnsey (St Peter's Port): it's listed as a tender access; will it dock right at the town? We are planning to take the bus to/from the occupation museum and one or two other sites. Is it doable on your own? St Mary's (Isles of Scilly): The same tender question? Have a walking map of the island that seems fine. One Excursion here is the Tresco gardens; has anyone been there, have an opinion? St Jean-de-Luz: again the tender access question-where does it dock? Thanks for any help or recommendations marypatrick
jam52 Posted June 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Yes, on Guernsey. Ship anchors near town. Short tender ride.
