What beach????

GOING TO BE IN DOM IN FEB 2014 WHAT BEACH DO YOU REC WITH FOOD DRINKS BATHROOMS??? HOW FAR FROM THE CRUISE PORT AND WHAT WOULD THE COST OF A TAXI COST??:p ALSO IF YOU KNOW OF A TOUR TO A NICE BEACH:eek: THANK YOU

Hi Hockeypapa,

If you are going to island of Dominika, not Dominikan Republic, its not really beachy, at least the side we were docked on . You will see rainforest, waterfalls, sulphur bath. I dont remember seeing any beach tour on a list of tours offered bybthe ship a couple of years ago.

Dominica is not know for its beaches.

 

This would be a good day to pick some other activity. It's quite a pretty island once you get away for the port area. :)
