Maho Beach

I have looked at several sites about Maho Beach--is this a beach that the planes fly over? Additionally can we get drinks and chairs there? We are sailing Jewel/RCCL September 28 and never been to St. Johns--only St. Thomas..thoughts?

Maho Beach is the one the planes fly over, however it is in St. Maarten.

Yes there is also a Maho Beach on SXM right next to the airport. Maho on St John doesn't have many amenities but is popular with folks looking for a less crowded beach to snorkel. Take a look at Trunk and Cinnamon Bays on the attached map, they are the more popular and offer more amenities.
