Don't Judge Me....

Isn't this precisely the reason why most people who cruise Carnival select them over other cruiselines? Because they're the "Fun Ship"?

I think most people choose Carnival because they are the "Cheap" Ship.

And OP, no judgement here. No one can ruin my day when I just got on a cruise ship. The hassle of muster drill is "the beginning" and no problemo. We are in a good mood, no matter what happens at muster drill.

If my maker doesn't exist then I would be the first one off the ship. Instead of saying thy will be done, I would go with you win some, you loose some. Heck, I would complain to customer service that the attempted mid ocean wata excursion was not to my liking.

I learned on my last cruise that my tolerance for alcohol has significantly increased. I can handle Sex on the Beach with a White Russian and a Bahama Mama. I can party with Jack and Daniels, Jim Beam, plus wake up to a Tequila Sunrise. Bloody Marys can be messy but Long Island Ice Tea can leave you messed up. Ha, 20 days before a drink in hand laying on the beach in the island, mon! I am old and almost over the hill, this is good news.

Cheers

Your posts make me LOL! Love them! :D

Why?

Teacher, teacher, I know why:D If you start early you will have a clear, or buzzed idea how much and what combination it takes to do the job. With this information you can budget more or less for the next cruise. Since alcohol is a cash cow on these ships, you are contributing your fair share to keep them a float. Getting a buzz on some of the watered down drink might be a lot costlier than imagined. Mo' drinks, mo' money, for the cruise line!

because I have a personal goal to have a buzz before the muster drill...

Just sayin....

Buzz? OK. Stupid drunk and puking all over the place? GEDDOUTTAHERE! ...and yes, I've seen a few on my cruises. I can only think they came aboard close to capacity - there's no way they could have gotten hold of that many DOD's by muster!

Last muster drill I was on, if they weren't "buzzed", they were counting the days until their next bypass surgery, or panicked looking for their ankle biters.

I can handle buzzed ;) As I was already drunk by that time!
