early saver price match for resident rate??

So in checking prices today, I saw that they had a lower rate under resident rate. Yet, the box where it says you can pick your room isn't check, but if you go through like your going to book it, it lets you pick your room..... So will they let me match this rate since I'm early saver or will they kick it back since the box during booking doesn't say you can pick your room?

Thanks

You can price match to any rate you're eligible for. I was booked as PG and then a Resident's Rate appeared and I switched to it and kept my room.

So I believe you should be fine. If all else fails, just state on your form that you want to keep your same room...though I didn't have to do that.

I just did this yesterday...I price matched to a Resident Rate. Emailed my PVP the screen shot and she sent it back right away. I have saved quite a bit in price drops since I booked my October cruise on March 1st (on the Liberty).

However, my PVP did contact me and let me know that we booked at a reduced deposit (half price), and because we price matched to a Resident Rate, we had to pay the rest of the deposit now so we would not lose our cabin. I had no problem with that, since Im used to paying $500 (250pp) for deposits anyway.
