Can you use OBC for tips?

I have $100 OBC from my shareholder credit, and I'm wondering if I can use it towards the gratuities? We don't usually spend any money onboard, so I'm wondering if I can apply it to the tips or if we have to spend it on something else. Anyone know? We applied it to the tips on HAL.

OBC appears as a credit on your S&S account. Anything that is charged to your S&S will be deducted from the balance on your account, so your gratuities will be charged to the account and your OBC will go away or down when Tips are added to your account.

so, YES, you can!!!
