July 2 Dubrovnik-Venice Going? Advice?

We are counting the hours until this cruise. Is anyone else on the Boards going? Considering how difficult it was to find flights from the west coast (arriving two days early), maybe not.

 

I've never been to Croatia and would love any suggestions.

We too thought of doing this cruise, but booked one on Seabourn to the Norwegian Fjords instead.

 

I'm sure it will be a great cruise. While we have been to both Venice and Dubrovnik, we have not been to the ports inbetween and still hope to see them in the future.

 

I loved Dubrovnik, and hope you plan on spending more than just a day there before the cruise. Do walk around the old city on the wall.

 

If you interested, you can also take a ferry to a small nearby island for a great swim. There are no sandy beaches, just large layered rocks to lay a blanket on, but the water is wonderful. The island (which the name escapes me right now), has a clothing optional area too.
