euros in the Baltic

Hello there, is it possible to use Euros in Sweden and Denmark, (they have their own currencies ) for buying coffees and ice creams. It seems a bit pointless to be getting the different krone just for small purchases.

Best to take a small amount of Danish and Swedish Kronar in our experience.

Did Baltic cruise with NCL 5 years ago & had no problem with euros in any of the stopovers even St Pete believe it or not. But be prepared to get any change in kroner in Sweden & Denmark.

Also found it easy to purchase in cafes etc in Helsinki, Copenhagen, Tallinn and Stockholm using Euros.

 

Think Tallinn might have changed to € now?
