Rare shof515 Posted June 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2013 4. Earn VIFP Points Members in good standing will receive one (1) VIFP Point for each day cruised (each a “Day”) on a cruise operated by CCL (a “Cruise”), based on published length of sailing. VIFP Points are rewarded for Days actually consumed by a Member, not for reserved Days in the future. VIFP Points may not be awarded for certain charters and/or non-revenue fares, as reasonably determined by CCL. Except as otherwise stated herein, VIFP Points are credited to a Member’s Account within fourteen (14) days of completing a Cruise. Members can check their VIFP Point balance by logging into their Account at the Site. CCL may, from time to time, offer opportunities to earn extra VIFP Points through participation in different promotions, contests or sweepstakes. source: http://www.carnival.com/loyalty/termsandconditions.aspx

Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted June 29, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2013 They were awarded for our "VH1 Best Cruise Ever" sailing which was a full ship charter through Sixthman. We even were able to cash in on Cheryl's 50th cruise OBC based on the elevated cruise fare. We were quite impressed with this. As the terms state: VIFP points "may not be" awarded. But then again, they may! Tom
