Skagway Walking Time and Lunch

We will be in Skagway in July, and as of now, our ship is scheduled to be at the RRA dock, which I believe is the furthest railroad dock. How long would it take to walk from the ship to the Red Onion Saloon? We have a little over an hour between excursions and would like to look around town if possible.

 

Also, does anyone have recommendations for a good place to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch? We would rather not go to a place where you have to sit down and order, as we are pressed for time.
