How long and how much to Marigot?

We will be in port on a Wednesday, the big day for the market in Marigot. Wondered if we grabbed a taxi, how much it would cost and how long it would take to get there. Thanks! Or could you do a water taxi? or suggestions on how to do this?

I have heard that it is about 15 minutes and about $20 each way depending on traffic of course.

For two, I would expect a taxi to be about $18, each way, and if you have additional it could drop to $7 per person.

I would allow about 40 minutes and hope for 30.

 

The Water Taxi is not an option. It operates only between the Cruise Facility and downtown Philipsburg.
