Looking to have a wedding service in Barbados

I don't want to rain on your parade but want to make you aware that ports are not ever guaranteed. They can be missed for several reasons. Many weddings on port islands go off without a hitch and people talk about how lovely they were for a long time...

Others plan weddings/ceremonies only to have foul weather/dock worker strikes/mechanical issues/medical issues on board the ship that messes up the itinerary or the whim of the cruise line to change the itinerary totally for no real reason, screw up their wedding.

 

Please be aware before making plans.

+ 1 on this. We were on the Veendam in 2007 and two members of the crew had planned a wedding in Key West the cruise before. Weather kept the ship from getting into port and they were marrying the week we were on instead. If you want Barbados, I'd suggest a land vacation/honeymoon instead of a cruise where things could go wrong very easily.
