La Spezia with small children

We've done Florence extensively so now we are looking for something to do when we port in la Spezia. Any good family beaches (where you can rent chairs, get food, etc), or good walking tours we can do with the kids in their stroller?

Not really . La Spezia is a big Italian naval city . Whilst the adjacent places like Portovenere (by Bus P from Bus Stop P in Via Garabaldi near Corso Cavour)., and the villages of the Cinque Terre Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso are accessed by train from La Spezia Centrale station . Only Monterosso has a real open sandy beach, which is directly in front of the station . Travel time by train from La Spezia to Monterosso is around 20 minutes .
