Any thoughts on cabin A160? Holland just offered it to us as a up sale .

It's in a good location and has the walk in closet:D from what I could see.

 

Verandahs on HAL are nice and who knows? it could lead to other upsells:D

 

Not sure what category you had before, but if you didn't have a verandah I would take it if you like the price. If you had one and are open to upgrades, you avoid the risk of being 'upgraded' to AB:D

 

If you like the price, why not? :D

What is the issue with an upgrade to AB Kazu?

 

AB cabins are the ones that were installed at the previous dry dock (not the latest). They are not the original cabins of the Prinsendam. There have been issues with noise, vibration and water on balconies from the aft pool.

 

One of the nice things about the Prinsendam is that it does not have 'cookie cutter' cabins. They are nicely designed and even cabins in the same category can be different.

 

The AB cabins are standard HAL cabins and do not have the walk in closets.

 

There have been reports of problems on the boards and the cruise before last one of my table mates had one. They ended up getting a 'sleeping' cabin so they could finally get some sleep:(

 

With so many other options, why take the risk with this category;)
