Dayenu Posted July 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Sorry, the search have not answered my questions. We will be there in October, and on Princess' website the tour is marked "M" - moderate, not easy. For a person with walking difficulties, is this tour is advised? I don't worry about the bus ride at all, only about the walk from the bus to see the Bufadora - flat walk? how far away? any steps? rocky road? anywhere to sit and rest if needed? Ilovesailing Posted July 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Here is a link to 143 reviews you may find your answer there. If not maybe post your question there as many locals chime in. Tripadvisor is the sister site to CC but for land vacationers. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g150770-d153903-Reviews-La_Bufadora-Ensenada_Baja_California.html Here is another link that has info and discussion board at bottom of page. http://www.bajaquest.com/sidetrips/sidetrip03.htm
Rosefloater Posted July 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2013 It isn't difficult at all. There are some stairs at the viewing area if you want to get closer. The worst part about getting to the Bufadora is the gauntlet of vendors from the parking lot to the viewing area trying to get you into their store. I just stay in the middle of the street, keep my head down and keep walking.
Dayenu Posted July 13, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted July 13, 2013 Sailing, thank you! I can't believe I forgot to check TA :o In couple of posts - 500 yards or 1/2 mile - each way! definitely food for thoughts. Now I understand why the tour is Moderate, not Easy. SadieN Posted July 14, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 14, 2013 The street has a bit of a downgrade to the Bufadora. So it's a bit of uphill to the parking lot.
