Saintes and Cognac Shore Excursion

We will be on Celebrity Infiniti in September, and will be docking in La Rochelle. We are trying to decide between the "Saintes and Cognac" excursion or the "Il de Re" excursion. If you have travelled to these places, please give me your opinion.

We went to Cognac and another town on a princess cruise and enjoyed it very much. It was our second time in La Rochelle. First time we just walked around town. Celebrity did not have any tours to Cognac then.
