High tide in Hamburg is 6.30am that day so I would expect her to arrive around then.

As high tide in Aug 24th will be a rather low one I expect QM2 passing Landungsbruecken Altona precisely at 0630.

 

Departure will be around 2000 - with us :)

On our recent voyage on our first call we did not leave Hamburg until around 1.00am due to some mechanical work being undertaken.....in fact we left a couple of other ports late too, for the same reason. We were not delayed arriving anywhere

Oh yes, that was caused by a power shut down earlier when leaving Southampton. The Fjords tour gives a lot of reserves as most cruises now. But the WC would have been affected by this delay as the ship is on a very tight schedule then.

After the arrival in Hamburg, how long can we stay on the ship before disembarking?

You will have to vacate your stateroom by 0815 sharp. All public areas are used for waiting. Each passenger has his planned disembarkation time, marked by a color luggage label. Only those passengers who registered as selfhelp and are able to carry all their luggage may leave on their own discretion. Everyone will be off board by 1000.

 

The terminal provides a waiting area with snacks available and open to the general public.
